6th Annual Boca Raton Fine Arts Show

One of the biggest fine art shows in Boca Raton is the 6th Annual Boca Raton Fine Arts Show taking place January 24th and January 25th, 2015. The juried art show will feature works by a variety of different local artists in many mediums. The works of art will be open to the public and the event will take place in the heart of downtown Boca Raton. Federal Highway is slated to be closed from Friday January 23rd up until Sunday January 25th at 10 P.M. for the show.

Art on display will be sold by world renowned and local artists and includes glass, clay, paintings, wood, photography, jewelry, and many more mediums. The show will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on both days. Art demonstrations are one of the highlights of the show which allows potential art purchasers to view the creative process as it unfolds. This interactive element brings the art to life and lends an inside view into what artists do on a daily basis. Live entertainment will also be shown which will add to the environment and create a sense of relaxation and enjoyment.

The event is produced by Hot Works, LLC, a company that has a national reputation for excellence. They are also the same company that produces The Orchard Lake Art Show which is an award winning art show in West Bloomfield, Michigan.

17 professional awards will be given out during the course of the juried art show. One of the judges, Les Slesnick will be in charge of giving out the awards and he is a professional photographer who holds a master’s degree from Savannah College of Art and Design. Younger artist’s work will be on display as well with artwork from ages 6 to 12 and 9 to 19 being on display in a designated area called the Budding Artist’s Tent.

With such a varied mix of mediums and artistic specialties as well as a range of ages, this event is sure to be one enjoyed by people of all ages and from all walks of life.
