A seminar planned for November 9th will feature six chefs from Boca Raton and Delray Beach in a discussion brunch. The event, Delray Beach Wine and Seafood Festival Chef Panel, is set for Sunday November 9th from the hours of 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. It will take place at the Festival Seminar Tent at Atlantic Avenue and Gleason Street. During the brunch, all chefs will discuss information about trends in the restaurant industry, the ins and outs of operating a restaurant in South Florida, and excellent stories about each other’s experiences in the kitchen.
Tickets for the event are $50 per person and lasts for an hour and half. It includes mimosas, a continental brunch, and a gift bag to take home. Questions will be taken from the audience during the discussion and there will also be a chance to take pictures with the chefs. The event should be fun, lively, and entertaining, and will be a wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Attendees will be able to get to know area chefs and see what really goes on behind kitchen doors.
The six Boca Raton and Delray Beach chefs that will be attending include Anthony Fiorini from 13 American Table, Blake Malatesta from 50 Ocean, Ernie DeBlasi from Luna Rosa, Bruce Feingold of DaDa, Michael Haycook from The Grove, Joey Giannuzzi of The Farmer’s Table, and Millu Wilkinson from Beverage Expert Ocean Properties. Tickets are now on sale and available for advanced purchase. For those interested in attending, early purchase is recommended as tickets go quickly for this popular event.
Delray Beach has a history of hosting engaging street festivals and events and like many preceding events, this is likely to live up to expectations. The 2014 Delray Beach Wine and Seafood Festival is now in its third year and has seen a successful turnout for all the previous years before. The Interactive Chef Panel is the first of its kind to be introduced into the festival and will be hosted by Christine Najac of South Florida Food and Wine.
