Locals and visitors alike can now enjoy the tastes of the Mediterranean being brought to the area by New York restaurateurs, Laura, Alexandra, and Bobby Shapiro. Together with Chef John Belleme, a new restaurant called La Ferme will be introduced on Saturday October 4th. It will be a new world eatery featuring delicious Mediterranean fare in a lively and engaging environment.
La Ferme will be a 3,000 square foot restaurant that can seat 120 people and features both indoor and outdoor seating and a spacious bar area. The restaurant will be located at 91010 Lakeridge Blvd. in West Boca Raton at the former location of Bistro Gastronomie. There will be an extensive wine selection available with many selections that have been estate grown.
The Shapiros are from Manhattan and own two restaurants entitled Flex Mussels which are in separate locations in New York. The previous restaurants they have owned include Texarkana, Hoexter’s, La Louisiana, Vanessa, Gianni’s and Uzi’s. They have also owned restaurants in Canada.
Boca Raton locals will enjoy the fresh new tastes of La Ferme which boasts an eclectic menu filled with unique combinations. The menu was created by Executive Chef John Belleme who has been voted the Best Chef in Palm Beach County for three consecutive years by City Link and New Times. The menu is set to change seasonally but will feature a wide selection of different foods including Kale Ceasar with Country Croutons, Steak Tartare with Quail Egg and Green Peppercorn Vinaigrette, Poulet de St tropez Roasted Organic Chicken with Roasted Vegetables, Olives, Grapes, and many more delicious selections.
