What The Bible Says About Prenuptial Agreement

The kind of marriage contract most of us think of turns a marriage into a contract rather than an alliance. Rather than asserting an association with a meat, it suggests that a husband and wife are more like business partners, each protecting their own interests without fully trusting the other. Lawyers could probably propose a thousand different situations where cold logic and a secular perspective could dictate that spouses “need” a prenutial agreement. But according to God`s plan, it doesn`t matter what each spouse has to “enter” because everything completely belongs to both spouses once they are married. If one of the spouses feels that he cannot give everything freely to the other, then I would honestly humbly suggest that he must seriously and prayerfully reconsider marriage vows.
