An evening of wine, food, and fun await at the 5th annual Boca Raton Food and Wine Festival to be held in Boca Raton on November 14th through 16th 2014. This unique and widely attended event will play host to the area’s best restaurants and brews from around the world. The event will be held at the Florida Atlantic University (FAU) campus located in Boca Raton and is the largest outdoor culinary event in Southern Florida.
The Festival Lineup
Festivities begin on Friday November 14th and there are four events planned over the three day period. On Friday, The VIP Dinner Under the Stars will be held from 7pm to 10pm and will be a four course food and wine filled event. The second unique event scheduled is entitled the Vineyard Party, A Vine to Glass Affair and will be held between the hours of 7pm and 10pm.
Following this event packed day will be the Grand Tasting, A Culinary Affair to be held on Saturday November 15th, from 7pm to 10pm. On this day more than 75 culinary masters will convene. They will join together from three different counties to take part in one of the most extravagant outdoor culinary experiences.
Sunday promises to satisfy craft brew enthusiasts with an event entitled the Craft Brew Battle, Hoppy Affair! This will be held on Sunday afternoon between 1pm and 4pm. Here the skills of many a brewmaster will be on display and enthusiasts will be able to revel in the wide varieties available from around the world. As a fun part of the day’s festivities, crowd goers will have the chance to don a blindfold and guess the origin of beers on display from different regions. There will also be cheesemakers present as well as a pairing between the chef’s dishes and complementary brews.
